All five State Rooms and Suites feature: grand king bed; fine linens; at least one gas fireplace; marble bathing salon with two-person whirlpool; antiques and architectural surprises; concealed media center with high definition LCD TV, DVD, CD, and iPod-enabled sound systems with built-in room speakers; twice daily housekeeping and turndown service.
Suite Touches Suites also offer combinations of multiple fireplaces, living rooms, dining rooms, steam baths, and deluxe electronics. Our Deluxe Suite, Above and Beyond, is the pinnacle of luxury. Fully outfitted with the finest bed and bath linens available from Mascioni, the renowned Italian linen masters, and dreamy, oversized, shawl collar velour robes and bath sheets, in the bathing salon.
All guest quarters are generously sized with room to relax and rejuvenate, whether enjoying breakfast-in-bed, afternoon high tea, in-room spa treatment, or indulging in our personalized services (pillow menu, bath bar soap collection, water bar, or exotic tea menu).
The guest quarters are named for significant eras of Newport history and decorated with art and artifacts of the people and periods. High speed wireless internet is provided in all public areas and most rooms. Our signature in-room spa treatment is available in all guest chambers.

The suite is decorated with art and memorabilia from Newport's Gilded Age, including a rare, framed first edition cover of Vanity Fair magazine and works by William Makepeace Thackeray - who in 1848 wrote "VANITY FAIR" (the book), considered by many as the most important English novel of the Victorian era.
